Hello everyone!

I keep having to remove or ban members for multiple off topic postings. Please refresh yourselves with the group's purpose:

This group is not a post anything group.
This group is not a place to share wildlife seen in your backyard, including bird feeders, deer sightings from your back porch or animals in zoos.


The only content you should be sending to this group is content which shows wildlife (and plant life too let's not forget them!) in the wild places of nature:  Woods, forests, bogs, swamps, oceans, deserts and any other biome I have left out).

The only time anything made by humans should be seen in your content submitted to this group is if you explain they are there because you were camping / hiking / day tripping in that area.    ATVs and other modes of transport are allowed providing they are not the focal point of the photo for example.

This group exists to encourage people to take interest in the natural world around them. And while we do love our bird feeders and the wonder at sighting wildlife so close to our homes, it is even more spectacular to see these creatures far from the metal and plastic creations of humans.

So please keep to the topic.  If you need help finding a forest or nature preserve in your area just send me a Gather mail  or a ping, or comment in the group comment area.
